Biography

WHEN DID YOU START COACHING AT CCFH?
I just started the mentoring program.

WHY/HOW DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS (AND CROSSFIT)?
Fitness has always been a part of my life, as a skinny teenager I began weight training to become stronger for sports. I still incorporate fitness programs into my life to stay healthy and strong, both mentally and physically. CrossFit allows me to become functionally stronger in everyday living and sport performance.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A TRAINER?
As a health and nutrition coach it made complete sense to add training so I could help clients realize ownership of their health, plan for change, and create their personal positive place.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING(S) TO DO IN THE GYM?
I don’t know that I have a favorite thing to do in the gym, I like everything about it and the challenge of new programs. I have a newfound respect for balance and flexibility training, something often overlooked especially as we age.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR REST DAYS?
Playing golf has always been a passion of mine that was initially taught to me by my late father. If I am not playing golf, I am spending time with my family and two dogs.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE HAPPIEST WHEN WORKING WITH OUR MEMBERS?
Helping members as an accountability partner to overcome specific health challenges, physical limitations, and encouraging them to become the healthiest version of themselves.
