WHEN DID YOU START COACHING AT CCFH?
I began part-time coaching at CCFH in July 2017. I quit my full-time job to start full-time coaching in November of 2020.
WHY/HOW DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS (AND CROSSFIT)?
Growing up I swam competitively and have also enjoyed just being active. A friend took me to a CrossFit class to try and a year later I returned and haven’t stopped since!
WHY DID YOU BECOME A TRAINER?
I enjoy working with people to reach their goals and become the best version they can be.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING(S) TO DO IN THE GYM?
As a trainer, I love watching people finally achieve whatever goal they have been working hard towards and celebrating that with them. As an athlete, I enjoy training with my friends and challenging myself at new levels.
HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR REST DAYS?
It depends on the day – but typically I may do an easy walk, some stretching, drink extra water, and a nap if I can find the time!
WHAT MAKES YOU THE HAPPIEST WHEN WORKING WITH OUR MEMBERS?
Seeing a member achieve the “light bulb” moment. They finally get or achieve whatever it is that they were working towards.
